The CERAMIX exhibition, from Rodin to Schütte, opens simultaneously at Maison Rouge, Paris and Sèvres – Cité de la céramique on 9 March 2016 after having been presented at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Conceived by Camille Morineau, former curator at the Pompidou Center, Lucia Pesapane, art historian, she is made by three European institutions the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht, Maison Rouge-Fondation Antoine de Galbert in Paris and Sèvres-Cité of ceramics who will present in turn.
This exhibition aims to explore, through nearly 250 works by 115 artists from 25 nationalities, the most current forms of the use of ceramics in contemporary art, thanks to loans from prestigious museums and passionate collectors.
