2. Scope and Acceptance

These GTC apply to all orders placed on the website. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC without reservation. They may be modified at any time; the applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order. These GTC are permanently accessible on the website and are systematically sent with the order confirmation.

3. Products

The books offered for sale are those listed on the website at the time of consultation. Each book is described with its essential characteristics (title, author, format, language, etc.). The photographs are indicative and do not form part of the contract. If a book becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the customer is informed by email and fully refunded within 14 days.

4. Prices

• Fixed price: Book prices are set in accordance with the Lang Law (Law No. 81-766 of August 10, 1981).
• Display: All prices are indicated in Euros (€) excluding shipping costs, which are indicated separately during checkout.
• VAT: Not applicable (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code — franchise en base de TVA).
• Price change: Prices may be modified at any time, but the order is invoiced at the price in effect on the date of validation.

5. Orders

Order process:

1. The customer adds books to the cart.
2. They select a delivery method and enter their details.
3. They check the GTC acceptance box and click “Place order”.
4. An order confirmation is sent by email.

The order is considered final upon receipt of payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of a dispute or proven fraud.

6. Payment

Accepted methods:

• Credit/Debit Card: Secure payment via our integrated terminal (Stripe).
• PayPal: Via PayPal account or card on the PayPal interface.
• Check: Payable to Yoshimi Futamura, sent to 19 Rue Fernand Léger, 75020 Paris, France. Orders by check are processed after the check has been cleared.

Your payment information is processed securely by Stripe or PayPal. We never have access to your bank details.

7. Delivery

Shipping methods: Mondial Relay (relay point) or Colissimo (home delivery). Areas: France (mainland and overseas) and international. Processing times: Orders are prepared within 2 to 5 business days after payment is received (immediate for card/PayPal, after check clearance). Delivery times (indicative):

• France: 2–5 business days after shipment
• Europe: 5–10 business days
• Rest of the world: 10–20 business days

The customer must check the condition of the package upon delivery. Any anomaly (damaged parcel, missing book) must be noted on the delivery slip and reported to us within 48 hours. If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer bears the return and reshipment costs.

8. Right of Withdrawal

For customers within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA):

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without justification. Procedure:

1. Notify us by email at info@yoshimifutamura.com.
2. Return the book in its original condition and packaging, to the address above. Return shipping costs are at your expense.
3. We will refund the product price (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receipt of the returned book. Return shipping costs are not refunded.

Exclusions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to customised or clearly personalised books, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.For customers outside the EU/EEA: The right of withdrawal does not apply. All sales are final, except in the case of a defective or non-conforming product.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount of the order. We cannot be held liable for delays caused by the carrier or for force majeure events as defined by French law. The books are sold as described — no express or implied warranty beyond the legal conformity guarantee applies.

10. Intellectual Property

All elements of the website (texts, visuals, photographs, book content) are protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written consent is prohibited.

11. Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you are invited to read. By ordering on the website, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

12. Complaints and Mediation

For any complaint, contact us at info@yoshimifutamura.com. In accordance with Articles L.612-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, the customer may refer the matter to the e-consumer mediation center at www.mediateur-economie-consommation.fr.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. The competent courts of Paris have jurisdiction.
